So it’s kind of crazy – all the buzz about guns and ammo right now. I have caught myself getting wrapped up in the excitement every now and again. I have got a few guns myself and just purchased another. I am also leaning towards reloading. I am not so hip on the assault rifles that seem to be the rave right now. I tend to prefer long range precision rifles. I have a few hunting rifles and would really like to build a more tactical rifle to which there is no shortage of opinions out there on the subject.
On another subject I acquired a few rounds of an older vintage. I was told some military rounds. I have since learned that they are a .30-06 round. Which took a little bit of digging to come up with. I don’t have any real info to point someone to to prove that fact or fiction just the knowledge of a local gun dealer. I have included a picture so if you know more about this certain round I would be curious to find out more. The casing says “fn 51″. Heck for all I know they may be worth a fortune.
